GET THE LOOK by Roberto Moura

Roberto Moura from RMUK helps you recreate the Maria Bello quick and messy updo, take a look at what’s hot And what’s not in the world of celebrity hairstyles.
1. Use fingers and a “hair friendly” boar bristle brush to smoothe hair and direct it towards the back of your head.
2. For extra volume and fullness at the crown either back comb hair with brush or use fingers to lift and fluff the top part of your crown either before, during or after your are positioning the ponytail base.
3. Direct the ponytail base to be positioned between the top and just below the crown but not lower than the middle of the head. The positioning of the pony base depends on your own goals but it best higher up.
4. Use a “hair friendly” Blax elastic band in either clear or the same color as your hair and wrap around hair to form a high ponytail. Gently pull the hair in the tail with your fingers from each side to make sure all the hair is arranged the same from the base.
5. Take the bottom of the tail and wrap it up and around the base of the new pony in a clockwise direction. You have the option to wrap the bun tight or loose depending on your goals.
6. Keep wrapping the tail around the base of the pony until all hair is used up.
7. Tuck any left over tail into base of the new wrapped bun. Bobby pin into place.
8. Use fingers to gently pull some of the bun hair to loosen and give it a loose, messy look.
Spray with L’oreal Fix Anti Frizz hair spray or spray wax to create different textures.
If you prefer you can pull a few random strands loose and use a medium barrel curling ironto twist so that they cascade from the bun. For a messier effect back comb the ponytail hair after it’s created but before the tail is wrapped around the base.
Create a fuller messy updo by bending over at the waist and ruffling hair while back combing with fingers to get a messy ponytail bun or a fuller crown. If you prefer you can use your fingers to ruffle the crown like Maria Bello’s crown – shown above.
Experiment and have fun. The key to a messy updo is having fun creating it.

RMUK help you get the red carpet celebrity smooth wave hairstyle look with the ghd IV styler.
Step 1 To section the hair, place your thumbs above your ears, draw a line around the back of your head until your thumbs meet. Gather the hair above your thumbs and clip it out of the way.
Step 2 Split the lower section into 2. Turn your head to the side. Insert the ghd IV styler horizontally at the root. Hold the styler at both ends for greater control. Begin to create the glamourous wave using the ghd IV Styler by rotating the styler upwards 180° and pull down through the hair. Then rotate the styler in the opposite direction and pull down again another inch. Keep this rocking movement until you reach the hair that has been clipped away.
Step 3 Release the top section of the hair, and repeat the technique using the ghd IV Styler. Continue through the side section until you reach your desired parting.
Step 4 To finish the look, rake your fingers through the waves to smooth and define.
RMUK TIP
For the smoothest wave, always keep the styling moving until it reaches the end & finish the section by turning the styler under.

GET THE LOOK by Roberto Moura

Roberto Moura from RMUK helps you recreate the Charlize Theron hair style, take a look at what’s hot And what’s not in the world of celebrity hairstyles.
With a little practice it is possible to achieve this popular look. Stars like Scarlet Johanssonvand Samantha Morton have all shown us how glamorous, dressed up hair can be.
To create it you will need a long hair brush, a detail brush, some pins and a decorative hair band, ribbon or ornament.
Start by brushing your fringe forward, then move an inch back from where your fringe starts and take a line of hair forward. Work down to the ear on both sides, brushing the hair forward.
Next, start taking sections of the hair from your crown and backcomb with firm movements from the tip down to the base of the hair – working through the hair. Then gather up the back-brushed hair and start moulding it round to create height and gather up at the base to support the beehive at the front. Secure with pins to keep the hair in place.
Now you can start smoothing and pulling the front sections loosely round, so the overall effect doesn’t look too contrived and secure at the back. If you have a short fringe you can leave it smoothed on your forehead or for a long fringe, sweep it off too the side for added definition.
Finishing touches can glam up the final look – choose decorative com
bs, sparkly pins or strands of shiny ribbon. When you’re happy with the results, keep everything in place with a strong hold hairspray and a defining gloss
USEFUL TIPS
• This style works best on hair that has not just been washed. Your hair is easier to shape and manage a day or two after washing.
• For extra effect, choose a decorative ribbon, comb or flower to match your outfit or the occasion.
• When securing the back brushed sections to support the beehive, mould and shape to the height you want to achieve. The tighter you pull it the smaller the beehive.
• Try and angle a mirror so you can see how the style is looking from the back.

GET THE LOOK by Roberto Moura

Roberto Moura helps you recreate the Cheryl Cole hair style, take a look at what’s hot And what’s not in the world of celebrity hairstyles.
The Cheryl Cole look will be easier to achieve if your hair is slightly layered.
On fine and straight hair it can be achieved by using either normal or Velcro hair rollers and a hood dryer, use a heat activated setting lotion and go under the dryer for a few minutes.
How is done
Gently towel dry your hair pushing the hair up to encourage texture, dry using the low speed on your dryer with circular movements or better still with a diffuser. Once dry put the rollers on and heat it up again with a hood or with the diffuser, remove the rollers and adjust the hair in place.
On naturally textured or slightly wavy hair the process is easier and may be achieved by twisting the hair and drying with a diffuser.
Slightly tease the crown area using a small brush or comb to achieve some height.
A small amount of lightweight serum can be used to create the separation (test it first on a small area)
