GET THE LOOK by Roberto Moura

Roberto Moura from RMUK helps you recreate the Maria Bello quick and messy updo, take a look at what’s hot And what’s not in the world of celebrity hairstyles.
1. Use fingers and a “hair friendly” boar bristle brush to smoothe hair and direct it towards the back of your head.
2. For extra volume and fullness at the crown either back comb hair with brush or use fingers to lift and fluff the top part of your crown either before, during or after your are positioning the ponytail base.
3. Direct the ponytail base to be positioned between the top and just below the crown but not lower than the middle of the head. The positioning of the pony base depends on your own goals but it best higher up.
4. Use a “hair friendly” Blax elastic band in either clear or the same color as your hair and wrap around hair to form a high ponytail. Gently pull the hair in the tail with your fingers from each side to make sure all the hair is arranged the same from the base.
5. Take the bottom of the tail and wrap it up and around the base of the new pony in a clockwise direction. You have the option to wrap the bun tight or loose depending on your goals.
6. Keep wrapping the tail around the base of the pony until all hair is used up.
7. Tuck any left over tail into base of the new wrapped bun. Bobby pin into place.
8. Use fingers to gently pull some of the bun hair to loosen and give it a loose, messy look.
Spray with L’oreal Fix Anti Frizz hair spray or spray wax to create different textures.
If you prefer you can pull a few random strands loose and use a medium barrel curling ironto twist so that they cascade from the bun. For a messier effect back comb the ponytail hair after it’s created but before the tail is wrapped around the base.
Create a fuller messy updo by bending over at the waist and ruffling hair while back combing with fingers to get a messy ponytail bun or a fuller crown. If you prefer you can use your fingers to ruffle the crown like Maria Bello’s crown – shown above.
Experiment and have fun. The key to a messy updo is having fun creating it.

RMUK helping you create the perfect hairstyle for your wedding using the ghd IV styler together with ghd ultimate hairspray.
Step 1 Pull your hair into a loose pony tail and secure with a band. To conceal the band, pull a piece of hair from underneath the pony tail, wrap around the band & secure by lightly misting with ghd ultimate hairspray.
Step 2 Depending upon the thickness of your hair, separate the ponytail into 3-6 sections and lightly mist with ghd creation spray for longer lasting curls.
Step 3 In each section, place the ghd IV styler in at the roots, rotate it 180° and slowly glide the styler slowly through the hair until reaching the end. Catch the hair as it falls, and twist it around your finger to increase the curl.
Step 4 To separate and soften the curls, run your fingers through them. To create a teardrop shaped hairstyle, gently backcomb the hair at the root area which gives volume. Gently tease the remaining tendrils into shape.
Step 5 To complete our bridal hairstyle, use the ghd IV styler for a smooth bevelled fringe & lightly mist with ghd reflection spray for all over shine

Lily Allen recently appeared in Toronto with a hairstyle that was both pretty while still managing to maintain the funky edge that Lily has become quite famous for.
A heavy fringe with long bangs have appeared that were ever so slightly parted in the centre and the long, dark hair was pulled back into a loose pony tail that was worn just to one side of the head.
With a pretty black dress teamed with tights and just the right amount of jewelry, Lily Allen has come into her own with a music and fashion style all of her own.

Sienna Miller seems to have stepped things up a gear in the beauty stakes. Not only has she adopted heavy brows and vampish red lips as her winter signature style but she’s been experimenting with her trademark blonde hair too. Here, her hair has bright blonde highlights and is pulled back into a tight up-do.

She recently took to the red carpets as a strawberry blonde, despite being spotted hours earlier with her trademark golden hair.

A month after her foray into a different shade of blonde, Sienna’s hair is back a pale honey colour.

Mena Suvariis with a long conditioned tresses and a heavy school-girl fringe. This hair cut frames her face, emphasising her best features – her doe eyes and petite nose, whilst the blunt fringe helps to balance the proportions of her face.

This shorter style gives sophistication. Elongated bobs are the epitome of chic, and making the cut from long to short does wonders for a girl’s position in the style stakes.

This crop has been causing controversy amongst LA’s tastemakers, Mena has gone for the chop for her role in upcoming film, Garden of Eden, an adaptation of an Ernest Hemingway novel. Although a radical departure from her previously wholesome hair styles, this bold cut makes the most of Mena’s super feminine bone structure.

What better way to update your look as the seasons change than a hair make over. Model Agyness Deyn did a quick hair colour change showing off three different shades over just ten days. She kicked off London fashion week with a sleek, peroxide blonde crop.

She then took fashion watchers by surprise by strutting down the catwalk at Giles Deacon with a striking orange dye job.

By the time it was her turn to take to the runway at Armani in Milan, the orange was nowhere to be seen. Replaced with a very sophisticated bitter chocolate brown.

Sarah Jessica Parker is back as Carrie Bradshaw on the set of Sex and the City the movie with her long tousled locks. We’ve enjoyed seeing Carrie’s hair transformations in the past as she’s gone from shoulder length to bobbed and experimented with a myriad of shades of blonde.

Sarah Jessica Parker arrived on set sporting a freshly dyed barnet. The rich chestnut brown shade is a radical hair colour change which makes Sarah Jessica’s locks look lush and healthy.
